One of my favorite classical pieces. If you’re short on time, skip to about 8:00 to experience the build up to the crescendo that begins at 8:40. The cascading and flowing piano reminds me of watching the water in a country brook trickle past round river rocks, while the swelling strings in the background feel like being wrapped in a warm, cozy blanket on a cold winter day…

Thought for the Day: Viewpoint

Experience seems to indicate that when someone has an elevated position of power or prominence or authority, how they feel about others who are weaker or lesser or different than them is how they will feel others will be looking at them when they finally fall… The lesson? Humility and appreciation of others should be cultivated before you need them, and especially when you may not appear to need them. By doing so, you will lay the foundation for a successful future when you do need them. And you will remember that if you used to view others below you as superior, then there should be others who will do the same…
